Phase Details
Phase 1: Foundation
2026-2030
Build the core infrastructure for SAGA. Launch the World Half-Ball League (WHBL), establish NYO and Makahiki partnerships, create educational curricula, and host inaugural community events. Align with Milano Cortina 2026 and LA 2028 Olympics for visibility.
Phase 2: Growth
2030-2034
Expand regional programs into national networks. Launch SAGA academies, grow the WHBL to multiple divisions, integrate Slahal tournaments, and build a digital platform connecting Indigenous athletes. French Alps 2030 and Brisbane 2032 Olympics amplify the mission.
Phase 3: Recognition
2034-2038
Achieve mainstream cultural recognition. SAGA traditions featured in national media, ambassador programs with professional athletes, Indigenous games demonstration events at international competitions, and formal UNESCO cultural heritage nominations.
Phase 4: Legacy
2038-2042
Establish institutional permanence and generational transfer. Endowed scholarship programs, permanent SAGA cultural centers, global reach through international partnerships, and a complete 16-year cycle celebration in 2042 that seeds the next cycle.
