The Founding Fleet

Three alliance proposals. Three traditions. One shared voyage toward a world where Indigenous, street, and traditional games stand equal on the Olympic stage by 2042.

Alliance Proposals

NYO Team Seattle

Alaska Native Games — Training the Next Generation

Cultural Context

The Native Youth Olympics showcase 11 traditional Alaska Native games that have been played for thousands of years. These aren't just athletic events — they're living cultural practices that teach strength, endurance, balance, and community. Each game carries the wisdom of Arctic survival and the spirit of a people who thrive in the harshest conditions on Earth.

The Proposal

SAGA provides the digital training infrastructure for NYO athletes: video analysis, wellness tracking via the TEK8 8-dimension model, Garu companion motivation, competition management, and a pipeline connecting NYO athletes to the broader Indigenous games network. Together, we bring Alaska Native games to the world stage.

What SAGA Offers

  • SAGA platform access for athlete profiles and training tracking
  • TEK8/Garu wellness integration — 8-dimension care for athlete development
  • Seasonal calendar integration — NYO events anchored in the Wheel of the Year
  • Digital competition tools — results, rankings, community features
  • Global visibility through the SAGA alliance network

Hawaiian Kingdom Tours

Makahiki Season — Where Peace Meets Play

Cultural Context

Makahiki is the ancient Hawaiian season of peace, harvest, and athletic competition, traditionally spanning from the rising of the Pleiades star cluster (~November) through February. During Makahiki, warfare ceased, taxes were collected for the god Lono, and communities gathered for games that tested strength, skill, and strategy. This is not recreation — it is ceremony.

The Proposal

SAGA and Hawaiian Kingdom Tours co-develop Makahiki games programming that honors tradition while creating authentic cultural experiences for visitors. SAGA's seasonal calendar system naturally aligns activities with the Makahiki season, and our eco-tourism reciprocity network channels visitors through community-led experiences where revenue stays local.

What SAGA Offers

  • Seasonal calendar system with Makahiki as a primary anchor season
  • Eco-tourism reciprocity model — community-led, revenue stays local (85%)
  • Digital game documentation and cultural education platform
  • Connection to a global network of Indigenous games traditions
  • Platform tools for booking, scheduling, and visitor management

What SAGA Seeks

  • Partnership for authentic Makahiki games programming
  • Cultural guidance on respectful representation of Hawaiian traditions
  • Co-development of eco-tourism experience packages
  • Wheel-of-the-Year integration — Makahiki fills the Nov-Feb season beautifully

World HalfBall League

Street Sport Heritage — From Stoop to Stadium

Cultural Context

HalfBall (half-rubber) has been played in American streets since the late 1800s. Born from the simple act of cutting a rubber ball in half, this street sport represents the purest form of accessible athletics — no field required, no expensive equipment, just a ball, a stick, and a stoop. WHBL preserves this heritage while building toward Olympic recognition.

The Proposal

WHBL and SAGA share a common DNA: sports that belong to the people. SAGA provides the technology platform for league management, athlete development, and community building, while WHBL's 6+ years of grassroots work and Delaware C-Corporation structure provide the organizational backbone for Olympic candidacy.

What SAGA Offers

  • Platform tools for league management, team registration, scheduling
  • Athlete profiles and performance tracking
  • Community building features — chat, events, fantasy leagues
  • Global visibility through the SAGA alliance network
  • Web3 creator economy integration for sustainable funding

What SAGA Seeks

  • Continued co-development of the SAGA platform
  • Shared Olympic pathway strategy toward Brisbane 2032
  • Regional league expansion through the reciprocity network
  • Cross-pollination between street sport and Indigenous game traditions
